As of July 2015
Simplified and periodic inspections of refrigerated air conditioning equipment must be carried out.
Periodic inspections carried out by qualified repair persons are mandatory for units over a predetermined capacity.
※ Affected are those who manage (or are users of) refrigeration control equipment for industrial use that operate with fluorocarbons.
What are the inspection obligations under the Fluorocarbon Emission Reduction Law?
Simplified Inspections: All equipment. ※Requires the advice of a qualified specialist.
Periodic Inspection: Equipment with a built-in refrigeration compressor of 7.5 kW or higher. ※Must engage a specialist.
